Construction is going strong

If you have driven by Miller Road recently, you will have seen the progress the team is making on the new health centre. With construction funding secured and in place, we are on track for an opening in the second half of 2023.

Official land blessing and ground-breaking ceremony

Ground broke on the Bowen Island Community Health Centre site in late 2021 (members of the Squamish Nation along with Mayor and Council were on hand for a land blessing and ground-breaking ceremony). With the warmer, drier weather, work will be proceeding at full speed through spring and summer.
